Is the two-week trial really free?
Yes. No card, no invoice, and no obligation at the end of it. We agree a set scope on the call, build it over two weeks, and you decide whether to carry on. The only thing we ask is that you are genuinely considering the partnership rather than looking for two weeks of free work. That is what the short form is there to establish.
Do I own what you build during the trial?
It becomes yours the moment the subscription starts. If you decide not to continue, the trial work stays with us. That is the trade that lets us give two weeks of real development away rather than charge for it. Anything you already had, including your existing code, repositories and accounts, is untouched and stays entirely yours either way.
Is it really one flat price?
Yes. £1799 per month covers development, design, testing, support and our technical leadership. There are no per-request charges, no change fees and no separate rate for the fractional CTO work.
How is this cheaper than hiring one developer?
Because you are not carrying salary, employer NI, pension, equipment, recruitment fees or the risk of a bad hire, and because the model is productised. We do not spend on a sales team, an idle bench, or re-quoting every change, so the price does not have to cover it.
What does “unlimited” not cover?
Unlimited refers to the number of requests, not to how many we work on simultaneously. We take one active request at a time and work through your queue in the order you set. Third-party costs, such as app store fees, hosting, paid APIs and licences, are billed to your own accounts rather than marked up through us.
Do I own the work if I cancel?
Entirely. Once the partnership starts, code, repositories, infrastructure and third-party accounts are in your name, so cancelling means the subscription stops, not that you lose the product. The two-week trial is the single exception, and it is set out above.
Why do I have to “qualify”?
Because we stay hands-on with every partner, we can only take a limited number at a time, and the same is true of trial places. The call is to check the fit honestly in both directions. If a one-off build or a different kind of partner suits you better, we will say so.
